Help shape the US launch

Two businesses. Different questions.

We’re exploring these two audiences first. Neither is a confirmed launch industry. The same complete early-access form is open to other solo businesses too.

Florida management consultants

Florida independent hairstylists

What is NorthOS planning for the US?

NorthOS is exploring industry-specific bookkeeping and tax guidance for US sole proprietors and solo owners without employees. This is an early demand test before a US compliance build.

The goal is clearer business records and guidance that understands your type of work, rather than treating every solo business as the same ledger.

Who is the US edition for?

  • US sole proprietors and solo owners
  • Businesses without employees
  • Owners using spreadsheets or bookkeeping software
  • Industry-specific needs still being researched
  • Other business types can describe their work in the form

Built around the work you actually do

Your industry should add context to your books: the income you earn, the costs you track and the questions you want to ask at tax time.

US functionality is not available yet. We are selecting launch industries and researching the needs of owners in different states. Payroll is outside this initial scope.

You run the business. Help us build the books.

Industry-specific bookkeeping and tax guidance for US solo owners is the direction. Your experience will help us decide what to build first.

Step 1

Tell us how you work

Tell us your business type, state, current software and biggest tax headache. No tax documents or financial identifiers are needed.

Step 2

Bring your industry into focus

Help us understand which records, workflows and questions matter in your industry. Launch industries are still being selected.

Step 3

Shape the US edition

Express interest in launch updates or a possible pilot. There is no launch date, public price or promise of availability.

Business records, with context

Planned: organize the day-to-day details of your business in one understandable place. US functionality still requires a separate build.

Industry-specific questions

Planned: connect bookkeeping to the questions owners in your line of work actually ask. No deduction or tax outcome is guaranteed.

State-aware research

We ask for your US state so we can understand demand and research local needs. No state compliance support is currently promised.

A clearer business picture

Planned: make it easier to understand business activity without reconstructing everything from scattered notes.

Records that support a conversation

Planned: help you bring organized records to your tax professional. This page does not calculate or provide personal tax advice.

Built for a business of one

The initial audience is solo owners without employees. Payroll is outside this first scope.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is NorthOS available in the US?

Not yet. This page tests demand before a US compliance build. There is no public launch date or promise of availability.

Who is this first US edition for?

US sole proprietors and solo owners without employees. Payroll is outside the initial scope. You can describe your business in the shared form.

Which industries will launch first?

We are selecting launch industries. Florida management consultants and independent hairstylists are two audiences being explored, rather than confirmed launch commitments.

Does this page calculate my taxes?

No. The dashboard is a clearly marked planned-experience preview. There are no live US tax calculations, filing services or guaranteed deductions.

What does paid-pilot interest mean?

It is an optional, nonbinding expression of interest. It does not make a payment, reserve a place or commit you to buying anything.

Which industry codes are used?

United States NAICS, 2022 edition, verified against the US Census Bureau manual. Management consulting uses the narrower 541611 description, not all consulting. Beauty Salons is 812112. A selection is unconfirmed; other/free-text businesses remain unmapped. Canadian codes are not reused.
